Cuisine

 

To me cooking is like photography. I enjoy both of them but thankful I don't need to make a living at either. My early career in the restaurant and hospitality industries opened up the world of food and wine to me, expanding my appreciation and experiences with a variety of both. 

Coffee

I love coffee and have studied it intensely to understand how to make the best cup of coffee.

 

I use a burr grinder and whole beans.

 

I pull an excellent espresso from a Breville machine. 

Adhoc Recipes

Recipes are always interesting and provide some excellent guidelines for discovering new cuisine. But sometimes it is a great adventure to just "wing it" and create some from your own imagination.

 

Teaming up with someone else who also shares a passion for food is one of the best combinations.

 

Sometimes it all comes together during a trip to the market... and sometimes whatever is in the kitchen. Like many things in life, there is never a 100% success rate but many times it come out well and makes for lasting memories.
