Digital Imaging
I started with photography back in the days of film, influenced by my father's interest and fueled by a creative edge. During high school I studied photography and did some B&W developing and enlargement work in a darkroom. Visiting my brother in Ottawa in the 1970's gave me my first experience with processing and printing color film.
In 1996 I attended a presentation in Tokyo by the president of Fujifilm who demonstrated their first digital camera... and I immediately saw the future of digital imaging. Since then I have progressed through much of the spectrum of equipment as technology has progessed. Nikon DSLR's, handheld Casios and Sonys, and several digital video cameras.
I am currently using a Sony RX100, a Nikon D300s and a Sony camcorder. My iPhone 6S is always with me and takes surprisingly good images.
I took the above image in Shinjuku in Tokyo. "Love is all you need..."
