Twenty-one years in Japan

This week marks twenty-one years since I arrived in Japan. An ANA flight from LA to Tokyo brought me here and I still remember my sunset ride from Narita to my new home at the Four Seasons.

Not sure why but I celebrated with a lunch (alone as circumstances are now) at a favorite neighborhood burger joint. Today is also my father-in-law's birthday. He would have been 94 years old today.
