26th Anniversary
Tonight Yoshiko and I followed our tradition of celebrating the anniversary of the day we met (or were first introduced) at Bice Ristorante in Tokyo. November 23, 1993.
We went for dinner at West Restaurant on Granville Street, one of our favorites but sadly will be closing at the end of the year. The reception, service and cuisine were outstanding as always.
I explained to our server about the background of our "anniversaries" and she was very taken by our traditions. When we ordered ice cream to share together after the meal, a note on the plate completed the celebration.
