Bacio gets neutered
Today marked Bacio's six-month birthday. And the date for his neutering operation.
He was restricted from food and water from midnight last night and given some light sedation medication early in the morning. He wasn't happy about the lack of the usual breakfast after awakening but the meds soon kicked in.
I dropped him off at the clinic around 8:30 and spent the morning with one of my e@UBC startup teams. The clinic called at 11:30 to say the procedure was successful and he was ready to come home.
Bacio definitely did not like the cone around his neck and tried everything to remove it. I bought him a new toy to (hopefully) divert his attention.
Tofino is quite concerned about her brother and needs to be separated until the healing is done.
I assured Bacio this operation only happens once... but twice could be arranged if he. misbehaves.
