Homemade pickles

I often wonder if I can create homemade versions of what I buy commercially. For example, I rarely buy salsa now that I realize how easily I can made great salsa at home.
I have always been a fan of good quality pickles (far and few between in Japan) and miss Claussen pickles in the US. So today I took the step to research and create my own pickles. Like salsa, the basics are incredible simple and variations unlimited.
These babies will be ready in a couple of days. And I intend to experiment without limits.
