Creating a magazine ad

Several months ago a friend in Tokyo asked to assist him create a magazine ad for his wife's dental clinic. I had previously assisted with the renewal of her clinic website. Website authoring is an area I have a fair amount of experience. But desktop publishing? Not much. I thought it would be a good idea to expand my knowledge of Photoshop.

There ended up being nine versions of the ad from start to finish and a steep learning curve in the first few versions. At one point we discovered the dpi was too small and I had to re-create the ad from scratch.

The magazine is for members of the Tokyo American Club and the August issue was delivered today. Looking good!
