Local artwork in Vancouver

Since acquiring our condo in Vancouver earlier this year, one of the projects has been to find artwork for it. I set some guidelines for myself. I wanted to support local artists and the scenes should be of the Vancouver area. Easier said than done.

I searched the internet and visited many galleries in Vancouver. I found local artists, local scenes and interesting art. Some of the prices were breathtaking. But nothing that captured the right combination I was seeking. Then I discovered a website called Reflections. The artwork is from students at Capilano University's IDEA program.

I contacted them and negotiated a fair price for four of the paintings.
