Kitchen accent

I am still in Vancouver and continuing my work on the condo here. Today I completed a small but detailed painting project in the kitchen.

After finishing the major painting endeavor in April, I was sitting admiring my work and looked at the section in the kitchen over the cupboards. I said to myself, "Saffron, I see saffron". The paint I used on the walls has a hint of orange so oranges and reds would complement it. Pouring over online swatches from the paint store I finally selected a color named Knickerbocker. The young man in the paint store who mixed the paint had no idea the name was the original name of the New York Knicks.
