We have been in Vancouver for one week and things are going well. It was very warm when we arrived and it continued throughout the weekend but now somewhat cooler.

My advance work on the condo here has been very beneficial as it has made it effortless to just arrive and move in. Yoshiko has been exerting her influence on the condo as needed but also feeling relaxed about the adjustment to life in Canada.

One primary concern has been about Spago. He seems to be okay with the new surroundings although he continues to cry at night occasionally.

We visited the Japanese consulate yesterday to get Yoshiko's driver's license translated and it should be done next week. TV is set up at home and service connection was done on Tuesday, So many channels! I am in a steep learning curve to understand PVR and all the channels and programs.

So far, so good.
