Kitchen Hightop Table

Almost from the time we first leased our condo in Vancouver I envisioned a certain table in our kitchen. Our kitchen is an open kitchen with direct access into the living room. With limited space but wanting an area for coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening, I started shopping for a hightop table and two matching stools.

Finally in early July I found a great combination at a furniture store here in Vancouver. I placed the order and the glass-top table was delivered in late July but the leather-covered chairs were back-ordered for several weeks. When they were delivered earlier this week, they were the wrong size. When I called to advise them of the mistake, the store surprised me by asking if I would bring the chairs back to the warehouse for an exchange.

Yesterday the replacement chairs were delivered, without charge, and I am very pleased with the furniture.
