Spectacular bike ride

The wonderful autumn weather has continued into the weekend here in Vancouver. This afternoon I headed out on the bike with a good friend to make the most of this weather since these cycling days are limited. Parking the car in the Dunbar–Southlands neighborhood, we cycled through the high end residental neighborhoods toward Kitsalino and across the Burrard Bridge.

We stopped at a reputable bike store and looked at clothing and bikes. As I am riding a "found bike" that is good but not great, I am anxious to get a new bike. Many tempting models to get me salivating. Soon. very soon.

We cycled along the beach near English Bay and then headed back along an alternative route to minimize the uphill climb back to Dunbar.

A fabulous ride and one to remember as winter approaches.
