Week 1

It has been one week since we moved to our new condo. I took the photo above during my early morning walk along NE Marine Drive. It is enjoyable to have new streets and paths to explore!

Generally everything has been going well as we adjust to the new surroundings and plan for what we hope will be our home for many years to come. We believe the location and the intrastructure of the building is sound, if only certain furnishings and work done by the previous owner are substandard. Nothing than can't be fixed, upgraded and replaced.

Our first hiccup came when the dining table we purchased would not fit into the elevator. I am currently negotiating with a professional moving company to give it another try. In the meantime we are discussing and planning the furnishing of the rest of the condo in terms of urgency and priority.

And we never tire of the view. At least when it is not raining...
