Daffodils
Yesterday I stopped by a flower store in search of daffodils. While the rain persists here, there are signs of spring. Yoshiko discovered crocuses for the first time recently and daffodils are also new but closely related to "suisen" in Japan.
I was pleased to find the store offered recently arrived (earlier than morning) daffodils that hadn't opened yet. A bargain at just $2.50 per bunch; I bought four bunches.
They came to life very quickly! Here is the difference in just 24 hours.
"You're gonna need a bigger vase!"
