Cherry blossoms in Vancouver

Under clear "almost the end of winter skies" we ventured out to see the cherry blossoms in bloom here in Vancouver. We found them along Iona Drive in front of our condo and in the nearby Nitobe Memorial Garden in UBC. Later we found them at the Queen Elizabeth Park.

Compared to Japan the number of people out to see the blossoms was considerably small. We enjoyed seeing the blossoms and the reminder of the advent of spring but we don't miss the insanity of them in Japan.
