A morning walk with my father
In Edmonton today and I took a morning walk with my father (age 95) to the nearby Terwillegar Towne Neigbourhood Park where my parents have a bench named for them. "Come See Enjoy"
It was a typically warm late spring day with clear skies. A quiet setting with many birds providing the soundtrack. We could see two families of ducks in the water and several magpies dropped by to search for food in the nearby grass.
I think my father enjoyed the chance to get outdoors and I certainly enjoyed our conversation. Life is short and family is so important.
