Day ride to Steveston

After several days of rain and overcast weather I got out for an energetic bike ride today with a friend celebrating his birthday. We delayed the start due to concerns about the weather but made a start from a residential neighborhood where we could avoid the hills leading to/from UBC.

Across the north arm of the Fraser River via the SkyTrain bridge and into Richmond where we followed the River Road south and west of YVR. At the Terra Nova Park we continued south and decided to venture on to Steveston for lunch.
