A hummingbird named Kefir

We have a regular visitor to our patio. Since setting up a hummingbird feeder this summer this male Rufous hummingbird visits us every morning and evening. Incredibly fast, agile and small (about the size of my thumb). I was lucky to have my camera ready for him today.

FYI, the orange tape tied to the feeder serves to both attract the birds and to ensure they don't fly into the window.
