Not a physicist after all

Today I got the call from the executive recruitment firm regarding a position I applied for at TRIUMF, the particle accelerator facility in Vancouver. That is not a typo. Yes, I applied for a senior management position at a company full of highly intelligent physicists who are very likely able to change the world.

I will be the first to admit it was a long shot for me. A very long shot and yet it got me excited for the challenge. The first time in a long time for me to feel this way. It would be a chance to learn and grow while providing my experience to achieving their goals.
