Berry the Hummingbird
We have created a Hummingbird Central on our patio since we added flowers and feeders in August. And since that time the birds visit us daily, from before sunrise until almost sunset.
Many of them are recognizable by their colors and behaviors. One of our favorites is Berry, who religiously protects the feeder near Yoshiko's office window especially in the rain.
Here she is this morning perched on the handlebars on my road bike that I keep on the patio during the winter months. Yes, that is snow falling in the background.
