Iona Beach Park

This morning we drove to the Iona Beach Park, adjacent to YVR's runways and almost directly west of our home in UBC. It is a bird sanctuary and the jetty is visible from my approaches when landed in Vancouver. The jetty is 4 km in length and an interesting place for walks and bike rides. Very cold and windy today but looking forward to exploring in warmer months.
