A break in the weather before more snow

Last Friday we had a record snowfall in Vancouver, dumping 12 cm of the white stuff at YVR. And yes, we were traveling on that day.

Today we got a break in the weather and enjoyed blue skies in contrast to the slippery streets, blocked sidewalks and also impossible commutes.

The forecast calls for snow again tomorrow night before it warms up and rain comes for the rest of the week.

The winter of 2016/17 will be one of be remembered.
