Nanaimo
I often walk through the grounds of the nearby Museum of Anthropology as part of my morning walk. I always stop at a location overlooking the ocean that looks west towards Vancouver Island. Recently, and for almost the past month, there is a hummingbird perched on a branch and singing loudly. They are territorial birds so I suspect his nest is nearby.
I named him Nanaimo since he seems to be facing toward the city of Nanaimo across the strait. Both of us apparently enjoy the solitude of the location.
