Pre-Easter Dinner Party

We hosted a dinner party tonight with a variety of friends and family at home. It was the birthday of Yoshiko's classmate at UBC, Hideo Madoka, whom we took to Steveson last weekend. We included friends Rui and Yuri as well as my uncle Michael and his partner Jean.

The weather was finally hospitable for entertaining including a spectacular sunset and the chance for some of us to sit outside on the patio with the fireplace on. Even the hummingbirds dropped by for a visit.

It is always interesting to have a mix of people over to our place who share some interests and passions.
