Home alone
Yoshiko is in Tokyo this week and I am home alone with Spago. I am trying to get as many miscellaneous tasks done as possible while she is away. The weather is not being as cooperative as I hoped but we are making the best of it. A rainy day today and I used the chance to visit the gardening store nearby to get supplies. It has been a delayed start to spring and I suspect sunny days will bring out the crowds soon.
The palm on our patio did not survive the harsh winter so I bought a replacement. Not cheap but live and learn. Tomorrow will be gardening day on the patio with some annuals for the three planters. I hope the hummingbirds like the new plants.
I am writing this update outside on the patio so I think this is a strong sign spring has arrived.
