Summer table dressing
We have a marble dining room table and we discovered early in the game that these tables are a challenge to clean and avoid stains from daily use. But still a gorgeous table.
Last autumn we purchased a table mat and a tablecloth to protect the table. With the arrival of summer (finally) Yoshiko mentioned she would prefer the simplicity of the marble again for the duration of the season.
Today I went to Crate and Barrel where I found an interesting runner and placemats. I was happy when Yoshiko came home and said she liked the combination. Hello summer!
