Wild Blackberries
The rain earlier in the year and the sunshine all summer has produced a wonderful crop of wild blackberries near our place. Yoshiko and I rode our bikes yesterday and tasted them along the trails of the Pacific Spirit Park.
This morning I picked a handful of them during my walk through the trails around MOA. In the afternoon I took a Ziplock bag with me on a bike ride and easily filled it with the berries. They are just everywhere but likely to be gone in a couple of days. It is a short season.
My legs are scarred with cuts from the blackberry stocks but I will survive.
