Making friends on my morning walk

It is very commonplace for me to encounter squirrels during my morning walks through UBC. Enough so that I usually have a handful of peanuts in my pocket. The squirrels I encounter can be separated into two categories: "scared to death of the human" or "mildly curious and quite friendly".

This little guy was very anxious to meet me and get a little late breakfast.
