Senior's Discount
This afternoon I stopped by a local store for some cleaning items. At the checkout area the cashier asked if I was over 55. I don't get asked that question very often and I had to think about it briefly. When I said yes, she relied, "Tonight is Seniors Day and you are eligible for a 20% discount."
Who am I to argue?
When I returned home I checked the store's website. Sure enough they have such an offer. But according to the website it is on the last Thursday of the month (which today is not) and only for customers 65 years and older (which I am not).
Maybe she just has a thing for older men...
