Quick trip to Edmonton

I made a quick trip to Edmonton this weekend to visit my father. It is just over a year since my mother passed away and I never get to spend enough time with him despite the short flight between Vancouver and Edmonton.

Also, the date of my visit coincided with the caregivers' annual holiday brunch. My presence would allow all of our assigned staff to attend.

I had no expectations for the weather in late November and Edmonton did not disappoint. But we had a good visit, lots to talk about and lightened his supply of beer and scotch a little.
