My Christmas Stocking

We have been taking our Christmas decorations out of storage this week in preparation for the holiday season. My Christmas stocking has been with me since I was young. Probably since I was born.

How do I know? Because it is a hand-me-down Christmas stocking. The mittens and the ball of wool are the clues. Also the evidence of a previous name under my name.

Prior to my arrival on the scene, this stocking belonged to the family cat, Sammy.
