Tied a record for a rainy November

https://is.gd/T2rM6a

Metro Vancouver hit a weather record this month, with only three days of dry weather.

I will be the first to admit I am not surprised by the news today. It seems there hasn't been a morning recently when I awoke and didn't see rain and an overcast sky. The fog would roll in midday and spoil our wonderful view. The weather has also created an unusual amount of activity on our patio from the hummingbirds. Often there are three to five birds on one feeder.

I have heard stories of depression brought on by the rainy weather and short daylight hours during the late autumn and winters in Vancouver. I consider myself fortunate not to have to commute and manage a host of daily task in this weather. I don't mind the rain too much. Regardless of the weather I continue to take my daily morning walk. I can dress for this kind of weather.

Someday soon we will have the freedom to travel and enjoy warmer climates during these months. Someday.

But starting next week (December officially) the weather looks much better.
