Energy savings in one year
Last January our electricity supplier, BC Hydro, offered a cash reward if customers could reduce their power usage by at least 10% over one year. Today was the end of the one-year period and I discovered we reduced our usage by 21%. The prize was just $50 but I also realized we saved money as well.
I have signed up for a further 10% reduction over the next twelve months.
