Age 58 going on 6
One of the local television stations (CTV Vancouver) features submitted weather-related artwork from local children during its weather forecasts. Often these drawings are more enjoyable than the weather itself, especially in the winter. I was recently going through some boxes of archived "stuff" from my childhood and discovered some drawings I made around age 6. Today I scanned one of the drawings and sent it to the television station (along with an explanation of the background). I doubt they will use it but hope they get a laugh from it.
Update: 2018-02-13 This evening I received a reply from my submission. They will be using my artwork during tomorrow night's broadcast!
Update: 2018-02-14 We watched the weather report this evening and, sure enough, my artwork was featured prior to the report. It was very brief since they were running late. But my fifteen seconds of fame.
