First time for me at a 100-year old's birthday party
Tonight we attended the 100th birthday party for our neighbor and good friend, Ralph Spitzer who turned 100 last Friday. Pictured with him is his ever caring and "patience-of-an-angel" wife Hisako. We decided to allow them the time to celebrate the occasion with his daughter and family last week so not to overwhelm him.
We brought a birthday cake for him and he enjoyed blowing out the candles. Their mutual friends and our next-door neighbors, Bob and Ingrid joined the party and we enjoyed Ingrid's performance on a portable harp.
