The condo renovations have begun
Yesterday we finally embarked on the renovation plans for our condo. It was our original plan to do the work before we moved into it in early 2016. But I am glad we waited until we had a sense of the surroundings and our new lifestyle. Also, we had Spago with us and didn't want him to endure the stress of the noise and disruption.
We have started with the floors, replacing the original creaky wood floors with porcelin tiles. As I am typing this... the workers are busy ripping up the floors. The new tiles are stacked downstairs at the entrance. Fingers are crossed the work will be done by this Friday.
The place gets painted mid-April and then new blinds by the end of the month.
The end justifies the means.
