Amazon Alexa
Today I installed and set up an Amazon Alexa network in our condo. An Echo Plus in the living room, Echo Dots in my office and media room, and a Echo Spot in the bedroom. Jeff Bezos ought to be happy.
Earlier this year I experimented with Apple HomeKit but didn't find it "ready for prime time".
Thus far I have set it up to active by voice... our music system, our robotic vacuum cleaner, bedroom lighting and several online services. There is still much to learn through experimentation.
