Puppy Express

Today we left on our trip to bring home our new puppy. During our previous trip to meet the puppies two weeks ago, we noticed a significant amount of road noise from our car (the Mercedes AMG). I didn't want to deal with charging along the way so the Bolt was not a realistic option. So we decided to rent a car. I chose a Cadillac and opted for an agency with a location near us.

I took a bus to the location and upon arrival discovered the computers were down and a line of people waiting for services. The staff finally started handwriting the contracts for the waiting customers. When it came for my car, they did not have a Cadillac (!) and offered me a Nissan Maxima instead. Standing in the parking lot I realized this was the best option available. And off I went.

We crossed the border at noon and made our way down to Olympia. The I-5 was like a parking lot most of the journey. We arrived in Olympia around 5PM, checked into the hotel and had dinner at Ricardo's. We were very excited about the adventure that lay ahead the next day.
