Tragic Day`

This morning Yoshiko left by bus for a chiropractor appointment. En route to the appointment, the bus struck and killed a puppy that ran out onto the street. It appears the puppy was not on a leash.

She called me in tears and clearly in shock about the incident. I immediately went to pick up her up by car and bring her home. She held and cuddled Tofino at home and we spent the day coming down from the experience.

Sad, sad day... especially since we are adjusting to have our own puppy at home. Tofino never goes outside without a leash.
