New Year's Day Bike Ride

Not the warmest day this winter but it wasn't raining and nothing better to do midday. Besides, it is New Year's Day and the year is set by what you do on the first day.
It was a spontaneous decision and we met up near the totem pole at UBC. We cycled about 10 km along streets and forest trails in and around UBC. When the hands started to get cold and tiresome, we made a brief stop above the rose garden for some quick photos.
