Perfect winter ride
This winter has been milder than the past two years. Almost no snow although lots of rain. I maintain my rule of getting out for a bike ride whenever it is not raining and the temperatures/wind are favorable. Today was one of those days.
I met my cycling partner at the usual rendezvous point at 11 am for what we both thought would be a short winter ride. In the end, we rode almost 20 km under almost perfect winter conditions. We even stopped at one point to remove some layers as we were overheating.
Infrequent cycling in the winter months strips me quickly of my "summer legs" but spring isn't far away.
