Finally... a bike ride
I haven't been out on my bike for more than a month. February was cold, wet and snowy. Whenever it looked like there would be a break in the weather, I would prepare for a ride but it never came. This afternoon it was clear, sunny and 7ºC so away I went.
I felt compelled to do the ride on my own. I wasn't sure where or how far I would ride in the pleasant but cool weather. My summer legs were noticeably absent but a good ride of just over 12km.
My bike goes in for its annual servicing later this month. I will then be ready for summer rides and getting my stamina back.
