Safe to fly?
In light of the second crash of a Boeing 737 MAX 8 this year, and the Canadian authorities' decision not to ground the aircraft, I started to investigate things this morning. Yoshiko and I are flying to Edmonton later this month for a family visit.
I do not want us to be on this type of aircraft.
My research on the Air Canada website indicates the route between YVR-YEG is served by an Airbus 320. If anything changes, up to and including boarding the actual aircraft that day, I will cancel our plans. I refuse to risk our lives on that plane.
