Painting Done
It is a project I have been putting off for years. A top-to-bottom painting of our condo in Vancouver. Two years ago I got an estimate from a painter who proceeded to read me a list of demands in order for him to do the work. I told him to get lost.
Last spring we had our floors replaced and, once we recovered from that project, I started plans to paint the place myself. What was I thinking? Instead I got sidetracked with finding and purchasing an Aussie Shepherd puppy. There is no way I or anyone else would be painting inside our place with a puppy running around.
Fast forward to this winter when our strata council contracted a commercial painter to do the interiors of our building. I struck up a conversation with the owner of the company and we promised to send out his best team before the busy summer season. I was delighted since these guys are pros and don't usually do residential work.
The project took a little longer than expected and lots of effort to move furniture and other items in and out of rooms. But worth the effort and we are very pleased with how new our home looks.
Next project? The kitchen range hood. Sigh.
