Bacio gets into the treat bag
I was out for a walk with Tofino this evening when I received a rather cryptic message from my wife. Something about our kitten, Bacio, and she was worried what will happen to him. And something about a website she had checked. So I hustled home.
I found her in a state of panic about Bacio had gotten into a bag of cat treats and consumed all of the contents. She checked the manufacturer's website and they recommended not giving these treats to cats under the age of one year. Of course, she thought Bacio was going to die from some "cat treat overdose".
Although I wasn't worried, I reassured her by calling the emergency pet clinic recommended by our vet. I explained the situation and the vet on the phone assured us Bacio should be okay if there was no change in behavior and no indigestion issues.
I am sure that was the most unusual call she took tonight. Meow
Sunday morning update. Bacio is still alive and his appetite is as strong as ever.
