Picking strawberries
Today was the final volunteer shift picking strawberries at the UBC Farm. Another hot and sunny afternoon and I am feeling a slight burn on my shoulders.
It doesn't seem so long ago that I was weeding the strawberry patches in the spring rain. Now we are at the end of the harvest season for these wonderful berries.
