Saturday afternoon ride to UBC Farm
The day started off cool and overcast but the skies cleared up in the afternoon. I got out on my bike for a ride to UBC Farm to visit the chickens and check the crops. It felt good to visit the farm when not working the usual three-hour shift, either in the sun or in the rain.
My next shift is Tuesday afternoon and I noticed the baskets ready beside the bean fields for the Tuesday harvest.
I haven't been out on my bike as often this summer as in past years. No good excuse so I won't blog a bad one.
