Volunteering at UBC Farm

This afternoon I did another three-hour shift at the UBC Farm, harvesting beans and edamame beans in the hot afternoon sun. The total above does not include today so I am officially over 70 hours to date this year.
I enjoy the chance to work outdoors, get my hands dirty and learn about organic farming. And meet some interesting people.
