January bike ride

This winter has been less harsh compared to the past two years. Almost no snow and mild temperatures. Sure, lots of rain but this weekend was a break in the rainfall.

I met my cycling buddy at the usual rendezvous point at 11 AM this morning and we rode almost 20km in excellent winter conditions. Not much wind and lots of sunshine. We even stopped halfway to remove some layers since we were overheating.

Infrequent rides in the winter means my "summer legs" are on vacation. But I am looking forward to spring (not far away now) to return to daily rides.
