Another Spago incident
After enjoying several days with his visiting aunts, Spago suddenly became ill yesterday and threw me into a panic. Yoshiko is still in Tokyo. Spago had no appetite, very lethargic and unable to stand up. We have seen this behavior before but the reasons can vary.
I observed him for a couple of hours and then called the vet to request the next available appointment for Spago. Blood tests were taken and general checks of his vitals done. We came home with some temporary medications. Last night I slept with him and his was restless throughout the night.
Today is looks and acts more like his old self again. Not 100% yet but making improvements.
It was difficult for Yoshiko to hear the news yesterday as she felt helpless being so far away.
